John Wyatt Jones, beloved husband and father, died August 8, 1994.

Born Oct. 29, 1916, in Wellsville, Utah, to Hazel Wyatt and John Morse Jones. Married Chloe Oliver March 21, 1941, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Served in the Air Force in World War II, and worked as a general contractor/ house mover for over 40 years. An avid sportsman and Jack-of-all-trades, he loved hunting, fishing and being in the mountains. He enjoyed his garden and loved to read. His wonderful sense of humor, patience and uncomplaining attitude made it a pleasure to care for him during the past several years.Survived by: His wife and sweetheart, Chloe (Jonesie); Three sons, John and wife, Mary; Gordon and wife, Vicki; Ricy and wife, Tami; three daughters, Shirley Iverson; Debra and husband, Gary Healy; Kim and husband, Ron Wilcox; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Victor, Paul and Franklin Jones; sisters, Idona (Blaine) Christensen; Margaret (Fred) Kirkman; many loving in-laws, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by daughter, Barbara Burgess; sister, Hazel McCallister; brother, Ricy Jones.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Michael Wren for the care and support he has given John during the past several years; his nurse, Patty; his aides from Bonneville who made it possible for him to live at home; and to the doctors and nurses at FHP Hospital.

Funeral services Thursday, August 11, 1994, 12 noon, at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street, where friends may call Thursday, 10:00-11:45 a.m. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
