We want to congratulate the Deseret News on Friday's front-page story, July 29, written by Dennis Romboy. He told of the tragic vandalism that took place on Wednesday, July 27, at Orem's Westmore Elementary School.
Instead of giving headlines to the vandals, Dennis highlighted the positive by emphasizing that the disaster brought out the best in those who love Westmore. We believe that such emphasis and positive headlines will also bring out the best in others and maybe even have an influence on those who would do such a dastardly deed.Richard and Jean Turley
