The Capitol Arts Alliance is offering two series packages for this season's "Best of Broadway" and "Family Series" events at the Ellen Eccles Theatre, 43 S. Main, Logan.
- The "Best of Broadway" series will feature two classic touring musicals: "Guys and Dolls" on Oct. 6 and "Camelot" on Jan. 24. Both shows were revived recently on Broadway ("Guys and Dolls" is still running there and the limited engagement of "Camelot" was part of Robert Goulet's national tour).- The "Family Series" will include four entertaining productions: DanceWorks' "Magic and Imagination" on Sept. 23; "The Legend of the Chinese Acrobats," an international circus, on Oct. 10; Alan Schoenberger's acclaimed mime/comedy performance, "Ski Bum," on Dec. 5; and the Childrens' Theatre Company production of "Animal Fables from Aesop" on Jan. 13.
Series subscription patrons have two advantages over single-ticket buyers: discounted tickets and priority seating. Subscription packages will be available through Sept. 23 for the Family Series and until Oct. 6 for the Broadway series.
Individual seats for "Guys and Dolls" will be available beginning Sept. 12, with single tickets for the Chinese acrobats available Sept. 16.
