DEATH: MARION VANOVER JR.

Marion Vanover Jr., age 70, passed away September 8, 1994 in Salt Lake City, Utah of natural causes.

He was born June 3, 1924 in Virqule, Kentucky, a son of Marion F. and Elizabeth Tackett Vanover Sr. He married Anita Mac Hreinson June 12, 1950 in Castle Gate, Utah. They were divorced in 1971. He then married Rebecca Idabele Wright, April 22, 1979 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She died January 29, 1993. He was a Veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Army. He loved hunting, fishing and being surrounded by his family.He is survived by his children: Chris Kieth of Salt Lake City, Utah; Allan Vanover of West Valley City, Utah; Gene Vanover of Mayfield, Utah; Richard Vanover of Bennion, Utah; Vanda Vanover of Austin, Texas; Connie Vanover of Cleveland, Utah; step-children: Jim Jones, Trudy Wrightsman and Linda Veasman, all of Colorado; 19 grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Mullins of West Valley City, Utah.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 13, 1994 at 1:00 p.m. in the Utah Veterans Memorial Park Chapel, located at 17111 South Camp Williams Road in Bluffdale, Utah. Friends may call for viewing at the Mayfield LDS Ward Chapel in Mayfield Utah, Mon day evening from 6 to 7 p.m. and at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park Chapel at Camp Williams, Tuesday one houyr prior to the services. Burial with military honors will be in the Utah Veterans Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
