An Ogden father said he'd had enough after his 15-year-old son allegedly exploded five bombs made with materials taken from the man's locked gun room.
So he asked police to arrest the teenager - and they did."Do the crime, do the time," the father said Sunday. "I don't think he was planning on blowing up his school; he just wanted to see what the results would be."
The results, police said, were five blasts that rocked the boy's north Ogden neighborhood about 10 p.m. Saturday. There were no injuries or damage, but police reported finding bomb residue and youths milling about.
Officer Steve Reaves' investigation led him to the 15-year-old suspect and his alleged accomplice.
