DEATH: ROY W. MCNEAL

Roy Wayne McNeal, born August 17, 1942 in Ontario, Oregon, died Sunday, September 11, 1994, at his home in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, September 15, 1994, 1 p.m. at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple.Roy was reared and educated in Hermiston, Oregon and received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Oregon State University in Corvallis. He began working for El Paso Natural Gas Company after college and worked as an engineer for Northwest Pipeline Corporation for 27 years throughout the Pacific Northwest. He was considered by his co-workers and friends to be a meticulous, and thorough, "pipeliner".

Roy was an officer of the Northwest Trap & Skeet Club, and the Salt Lake City Bowling Association. He was a tournament bowler in the 1970's. He was an avid reader, golfer and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He took several trips to Alaska for salmon and halibut fishing.

Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Roberta and Robert Megard of St. Paul, Minnesota; his brother and sister-in-law, Henry and Vicki McNeal of Nampa, Idaho; an aunt, Edna Luscombe of Des Moines, Washington; an uncle, Robert H. McNeal of Salt Lake City; four nieces and nephews, Jason, Allison, Rachel and Echo. He was preceded in death by mother, Georgia Scott McNeal and father, Roy Wilson McNeal.
