DEATH: LAWRENCE ""REX"" RIGBY

Lawrence "Rex" Rigby, our kind, loving and generous husband, father and grandfather, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 1994 in Bountiful, Utah.

He was born December 7, 1924 in Bancroft, Idaho, a son of Alfred and Lillian Wright Rigby. He married Glenda Miller August 26, 1949 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He had lived in Kaysville for 24 years and in Farmington for 45 years. He graduated from Davis High School. He worked at Hercules, Marquardt, Miller Floral and retired from the Davis County Roads Department where he worked as a clerk.He was an active member of the Farmington 1st LDS Ward and served as Sunday School president, home teacher, in the High Priest and Elders Quorum presidencies and as executive secretary.

Surviving are his wife, Glenda, of Farmington; two sons, Ronald Rex Rigby (Karen), Randall L. Rigby (Sandra), and nine grandchildren, all of Farmington; two brothers and two sisters, Max Ben Rigby (Fern), Clarence Reed Rigby (Lela), Bernice Rigby Egbert, all of Kaysville, Ut.; Marjorie Rigby Sparkes, Layton; in-laws, Lucille Bone Rigby, Kaysville; Charles G. (Lorna) Miller, Bountiful. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 17, 1994, 11 a.m, at the Farmington LDS Rock Chapel, 272 North Main, Farmington. Friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main, and at the church Saturday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment, Farmington City Cemetery.
