DEATH: OPAL TAYLOR BRERETON

Sarah Opal Briggs Brereton, 80, passed away September 14, 1994 at the home of her daughter in Salt Lake.

She was born March 1, 1914 in Carey, Idaho to William G. and Sarah E. Patterson Briggs. Married Almon L. Taylor, April 28, 1936; later divorced. Married Vernon E. Leetham in 1969; later passed away. Married Clifford Brereton in 1983; later passed away in 1984. She was a nurse at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo.Survived by daughter, June (Del Mar) Faddis; four grandchildren, Jeff (Jeni) Payne, Dan (Marie) Payne, Marcia (Michael) Reed, and Shelly (Ron) Carter, 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bob Briggs, Warren Briggs; three sisters, Ellen Carlson, Thelma Howard and Leona Tillman. Preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

Funeral services Monday, 11 a.m., September 19, 1994 at the Valley View 4th Ward, 2125 Evergreen Avenue (3435 South). Friends may call prior to services from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment at 2:30 p.m. Monday, at the Spanish Fork Cemetery. Funeral Directors, Wasatch Lawn Mortuary.
