DEATH: MAE R. NYMAN

Mae Luella Rasmussen Nyman, 78, passed away Sept. 18, 1994 in Provo, Utah.

She was born October 22, 1915 in Logan, Utah to Joseph Jensen and Stella Anine Law Rasmussen. She married Kenneth Nyman, June 3, 1936 in the Logan LDS Temple.She was raised in Nibley, Utah and graduated from South Cache High School and Utah State Agricultural College. She taught elementary school. She was active in the LDS Church, serving in the Young Women program, for 24 years she served as Jr. Sunday School Coordinator and was known as "The Sunday School Lady". She enjoyed working in the PTA and school with children. She was a member of the Federated Women's Club. She lived in New Mexico, Fillmore and Nephi (49 years). For 13 years she served as a temple worker in the Manti and Provo Temples.

Survived by her husband, Nephi; and four children, Carol N. Lewis (Glenn) and Nancy N. Rose (Chuck), both of Salt Lake City; Stephen K. Nyman (Deanna), Springville; JuLee N. Berg (Dale), Heber City; 19 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; brother, Milton J. Rasmussen. Preceded in death by a sister, Violet Stella Rasmussen Butler and an infant brother.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 21, 1994 in the Nephi 7th LDS Ward, 222 South 100 East. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 North and at the church Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial in the Logan City Cemetery, Logan, Utah at 4:30 p.m.
