A Washington County woman died Monday of injuries sustained in a rollover south of Toquerville, and a Salt Lake County girl has died of injuries sustained in a Friday auto-bike accident.

Killed were:Leann L. Hall, 26, Hurricane.

Heather Schofield, 11, Millcreek.

Hall, who was driving a 1986 Dodge, drifted off the road a half mile south of Toquerville about 7:30 a.m. and overcorrected, a Utah Highway Patrol dispatcher said. The car rolled and came to rest on its top. Hall was transported to Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George where she later died.

Schofield was riding her bike across 3900 South near 963 East when she was struck by a westbound truck driven by Elizabeth Seaman, 18, of Millcreek, about 7 p.m. Friday. The bicyclist was not in a crosswalk when she entered the roadway, according to a Salt Lake County sheriff's report.

Witnesses said the girl rode into the street without noticing the truck.

Schofield was airlifted to Primary Children's Medical Center and died the next day. Described as an avid angler and athlete by her family, she will be buried Thursday.
