Wilford Rex Jensen, age 81, died Wednesday, September 21, 1994, at University Medical Center in Salt Lake City.

Rex was born February 26, 1913, at Lark, Utah. He loved the outdoors-the mountains, hunting and fishing. He was talented musically-could play several instruments. He played the saxophone, banjo and the guitar in a local orchestra, playing at dances in Aurora and Richfield. He was a good athlete and participated in many school and civic events. Rex married Verla Madsen in 1934 and they were divorced in 1956. Rex lived in Aurora, Utah until about 1965, and thereafter in Salt Lake City. In Aurora, he worked at farming, raising turkeys and logging.He is survived by two sons, Gordon Rex Jensen, Bountiful; and Raylan Dee Jensen of Santa Maria, California; four grandsons, Joseph, Justin, Jordan and Cameron.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 24, 1994 at 1:30 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park (Claremont Section), 3401 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah.
