Utah senior citizens and those who advocate on their behalf are encouraged to attend the 1995 Utah State White House Conference on Aging, Thursday, Sept. 29, at noon at the Salt Lake Hilton Hotel, 150 W. 500 West.

The gathering will allow senior citizens and their advocates an opportunity to voice their opinion on issues they feel should be part of the president's aging policy in the next 10 years.Bob Blancato, executive director of the National White House Conference on Aging, will be featured speaker along with Lt. Gov. Olene Walker. Lunch cost is $8.

The conference is held once every 10 years to address the present and future needs of older Americans. As part of the process, each state held a series of area conferences to assess local and national issues.
