DEATH: GEORGIA FRANCOM AUSTIN

Georgia LaVon Francom Austin, loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, age 83, died September 21, 1994 at the home of her daughter in Grantsville, Utah.

Born December 24, 1910 in Levan, Utah to George and Mary Elizabeth Tumbridge Francom. She married David Austin August 17, 1934 in Lehi, Utah. Marriage later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He died January 1988.She was an active member of the LDS Church, where she served in the Stake Primary, the M.I.A., and as a visiting teacher. She was employed by the 4-D Plumbing and Builders Supply for over 30 years. Her greatest joy was her family and taking care of her home. She also was an excellent cook.

Survived by her daughters, Margaret Hawkins (Brent), Payson; Mary Randle (Tom), Grantsville; 10 grandchidren, 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Ruth Cheever, Thousand Oaks, Calif.; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by two sons, Karl David and George Clark.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, September 24, 1994 in the Nephi 5th LDS Ward, 345 East 500 North. Friends may call Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 North and at the church from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial in the Nephi City Cemetery.
