NOTABLE PERFORMANCES

Following are some of Friday's notable performances in high school football throughout the state:

JEREMY SORENSON, Bingham: Sparked No. 1-ranked Miners' 14-9 win over Hunter by making 12 tackles from his linebacking spot including 2 quarterback sacks.BEN RAYBOULD, West: Gained 109 yards on 19 carries, including a 62-yard touchdown run as West upset No. 1-ranked Olympus, 21-10.

DREW SEARLE, Judge Memorial: Had 153 yards rushing on 15 carries and 2 touchdowns in just over a half of play in Judge Memorial's 30-12 victory over Granite.

RICK ROSE, Milford: Had 2 interceptions and scored a touchdown in 18-7 victory over Rich.

JESSE MALMROSE, Woods Cross: Had 4 touchdowns, 144 yards rushing on 13 carries and passed for 96 yards in 37-12 win over East.

RICHARD MOURITSEN, Grantsville: Scored 3 touchdowns to help team to 30-8 win over Gunnison.

MARK LARSEN, Viewmont: Completed 12 passes, including 11 straight, for 160 yards and 2 touchdowns in Vikings' 21-14 victory over Highland.

DON WORTHINGTON, Lehi: Had 3 touchdowns and a 2-point conversion in Lehi's 29-27 overtime victory over Union.

TYLER GLADWELL, Bonneville: Completed 20 of 29 passes for 368 yards and 5 touchdowns and rushed for another touchdown in team's 61-28 win over Fremont.

STUART PETERSON, Bear River: Rushed for 211 yards and 3 touchdowns on 18 carries and had 244 yards total offense as Bear River posted a 35-13 victory in Evanston, Wyo.

JOE NICHOLS, Brighton: Had 2 interceptions and forced and recovered a fumble from his linebacking position in Bengals' 41-7 win over Mountain View.

BRANDON DOMAN, Skyline: Passed for 166 yards and 2 touchdowns and rushed for 63 yards and another TD to help Eagles to 28-21 win over Davis.

JEFF CROSBIE, Mountain View: Completed 17 of 35 passes for 277 yards and 3 touchdowns in team's 23-17 overtime win over Box Elder.

MICHAEL KENT, Brighton: Completed 8 of 12 passes for 149 yards and 3 touchdowns and rushed for 2 TDs in win over Mountain View.

BEN SUTORIOUS, Juab: Workhorse back rushed for 118 yards on 34 carries in 10-9 win over Morgan.
