DEATH: EDNA HANSEN WHITE

Our loving, beautiful, talented and giving mother, Edna Amelia Hansen White, has returned to her Heavenly Father.

Edna was born December 20, 1896 in Logan, Utah to Willard S. and Hulga Amelia Jacobson Hansen. She married James Owen White, Salt Lake LDS Temple, June 20, 1919. They lived in Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, and the Teton Valley in Idaho. Her husband preceded her in death in 1961.Edna loved the beauties of the world from sunrise to sunrise, from her flower gardens to the fields of grain and potatoes. Mother's church was primary in her life. She held many positions in the Sunday School and Primary, and served as president of the MIA in the Wilshire Ward in Los Angeles. She also served as matron in the Salt Lake Temple.

She is survived by her children, James Owen White (Betty), Willard H. White (Irene), Marilyn White Parkinson (Dr. Richard P.) and Jackie White Nokes Klas (John H.); 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sisters, Venna Taylor Bryson, Lola Sedgewick (Mrs. Joel G.), and Eva Caroline "Pinkie" Thatcher (Mrs. John W.). Her parents and brothers, Milton and Wayne, preceded her in death.

Graveside services Saturday, September 24th, at 12 noon, Willard City Cemetery, Box Elder County, under the direction of Larkin Mortuary.
