DEATH: MELVIN WINN ELLIS ""STONEY""

Melvin (Stoney) Winn Ellis, 59, died September 26, 1994.

Born December 5, 1934 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He retired from Kennecott Copper Corp. after 33 years. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Steel Workers of America and the Magna Mounted Riders. He was associated with the VFW post 7398 and was quarter master of the Magna American Legion.Survived by wife, Marlene Hales; children, Mitchell (Jeune) Ellis, Randy (Kathy) Ellis; Debby Ellis Thornton, Tracy (Natalie) Ellis, Melanie Ellis, Kori, Russ, Lisa, Ted, Pam, Dawn Rae, and Connie; 26 grandchildren. Preceded in death by mother and stepfather, Flora Winn and Bob Baxter.

Graveside services will be held Friday, September 30, 1994 at 11 a.m., at the Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South. Friends may call both Thursday, 6-8 p.m. and Friday 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South, Magna.
