Mildred Y. (Mickey) Smith, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, passed away September 2, 1994 in West Valley City, Utah.

Born July 25, 1923 in Dalhart, Texas to David T. and Helen M. Calvird McKie. Both parents preceded her in death. She loved her family and was happiest when she could be doing something for others. She traveled and lived in England, Japan, and the U.S. She worked at the Tokyo General Hospital in Japan during the Korean War. She worked in banks and retired from the Tooele Army Depot.Survived by daughters, Terri Boren, Roy, Utah; Tamyra Rhodes, Hooper, Utah; Deborah Vetica, Morgan, Utah; Shawna Penna, Brenda Button, and Sheila Kazlauckas, all of Salt Lake City; brother, Edward McKie, Dalhart, Texas; 18 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by Nikki Boren and Leo Vetica.

She was cared for at home by her daughters until her death. We love her now and forever.

To honor Mickey's request, there will be no funeral services or viewing.
