Cornerback Deion Sanders, who sprained his ankle Wednesday during practice, is questionable for the San Francisco 49ers' game this weekend against Philadelphia.
His X-rays were negative Thursday and Sanders watched practice while wearing a protective walking cast on his ankle."It's pretty good, pretty good," Sanders said.
Asked if he'll play Sunday at Candlestick Park, Sanders replied, "It's not my call."
Coach George Seifert said he will not make a determination on Sanders' availability until "fairly late."
"It could be last-minute because I don't know the man as far as how he heals," he said.
