DEATH: ROBERT M. THOMPSON

On Friday, September 2, 1994 our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Robert Maurice Thompson, passed on to the next life while in the arms of the woman he loved, his wife of 47 years. He was surrounded by his adoring children, "Dad, we will never forget your courage and bravery, you were our pillar of strength."

Robert was born June 28, 1927 to Goldie Clevenger and Robert William Thompson in Caldwell County, Missouri.He served in the United States Navy in World War II and married his sweetheart Ida Lillibelle Boone on November 1st 1947 and had five beautiful children. He moved his family from Kansas City, Missouri to Kaysville, Utah in 1967 to enhance his career and enjoy the mountains. He was Production Control Manager for many years at Litton Systems.

Robert is survived by his loving wife; three daughters; and two sons; Karol Gregory (Ray), Cheryl Thinnes (Rick), Roberta Weaver (Bryan), Robert Thompson II (Cindy), William Dan Thompson (Lisa). He is also survived by six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Mignon Coffman; niece, Linda Tichy; aunt, LeeEmma Thompson; many other relatives and friends.

Friends and family may call and pay their

respects at the Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main, Kaysville, from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, September 5, 1994. Graveside services will be held Wednesday in Cowgill Cemetery in Cowgill, Missouri. Interment, Cowgill Cemetery, Cowgill, Missouri.
