In honor of our beloved Salt Lake Buzz, we're seeking HONEY recipes for October's Recipe Exchange.

And by the way, October is also National Honey Month!Yes, times like this bring back the wise words of our Romper Room guru, Jackie Nokes . . . "Do be a Do-Bee!"

So do! Send in your honey recipes, sweetie. Yours might just be published - which will make you $10 richer, and a Queen Bee in our hive.

After all, this is the Beehive State.

Here are the rules:

1. Submit one recipe per sheet of paper (however, all can be mailed in one envelope). Include your name, address, and phone number (in case the food editor can't figure out your recipe). Mail entries to Recipe Exchange, P.O. Box 1257, Salt Lake City, UT 84110.

2. No more than three recipes will be accepted from any one person or household.

3. Recipes must be postmarked no later than Sept. 16, 1994.

4. If identical recipes are received, the one with the enclosed five-pound box of Cummings chocolates will be used (actually, we'll use the earliest postmark).

5. Recipes will be tested and chosen for publication in the Deseret News Food Extra the first Tuesday in October (October 4).

And to all you lovely readers out there who sent us your rice recipes . . . THANKS . . . (You must have ALL decided to clean out the 10 years supply of rice you have in your basement!)
