A magnitude 4.3 earthquake rattled through central Utah Monday night. There were no reports of damage.

Seismologist Sue Nava of the University of Utah Seismograph Station said the quake was recorded about 9:48 p.m. The epicenter of the shock was 7 miles south of Circleville, which is about 180 miles southwest of Salt Lake City.
