DEATH: LARRY O. MALASKA

Larry O. Malaska, age 79, died September 5, 1994 in a Price hospital.

Born September 10, 1914 in Clear Creek, Utah; son of Mike and Susie Hakola Malaska. Married Rose Mae Williams May 16, 1968 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lifelong resident of Carbon County. Served with U.S. Army in Europe during World War II. Worked in various coal mines. He was past president of Local #6788 U.M.W.A. with 60 years as a member. Honorary life member Price Elk's Lodge #1550. Member, Miners Post #2379 V.F.W. Larry loved to fish, hunt, bowl and take leisure trips to Wendover with his wife.Survived by wife, Mae Malaska, Helper; stepdaughter, Saralyn Montoya, Las Vegas, Nevada; two stepsons and spouses, Jack and Becky Marinos, Helper; Tom and Laurel Marinos, Carbonville; three sisters, two brothers, Pearl Burton, Salt Lake City; Jack Malaska, Salt Lake City; Hulda Hagen, Anaconda, Montana; Bill Malaska, Clear Creek, Utah; Elsie Vanwagen, Price; also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents; two brothers, stepdaughter, Georgette Hamilton.

Funeral services Thursday, 1 p.m., Mitchell Chapel. Family will be at Mitchell's Wednesday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to services.

Interment: Mountain View Cemetery, Helper.
