DEATH: FRED M. GOOLD

Fred M. Goold, 83, of Monroe, Utah, passed away September 5, 1994 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Fred was born March 19, 1911 in Monroe, Utah to Binning and Emma Asay Goold. He married Manell Coons, November 22, 1933. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.He was a lifetime resident of Monroe. He was a successful sheep, cattle and dairy farmer. Fred and Manell served on the Old Folks Committee in Monroe for 30 years.

He is survived by wife, Manell, Monroe, Utah; two sons, two daughters and their spouses, Rod and Mary Goold, Sandy, Utah; Brent and Becky Goold, Sandy, Utah; Kaye and Billy White, Richfield, Utah; Vicky and Charles Wiseman, Bountiful, Utah; 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; brother, Norris W. Goold, Salt Lake City, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 9, 1994 at 1 p.m. in the Monroe 4th LDS Ward Chapel, 49 East 200 North, Monroe, Utah. Friends may call at the ward chapel on Friday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Monroe City Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary, Richfield, Utah.
