DEATH: MARJORIE LANGTON EVANS

Marjorie Edith Langton Evans, age 77, passed away September 6, 1994 in West Valley City from complications due to surgery.

Born February 3, 1917 in Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter of William Albert and Francis Annie Rushworth Langton. Married Clarence Davis Evans June 8, 1937 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Active member of the LDS Church where she was an outstanding teacher and leader in all of the auxiliaries. Served a mission, with her husband among, the Arizona Pima Indians. Temple worker for nine years in the Jordan River LDS Temple.Survived by husband, Clarence; daughter, Mrs. Lawrence (Sheryl) Burton, all West Valley; two grandchildren, Mrs. Kimball (Suzanne) Ohsiek, Boise, Idaho; Kent and Ann Burton, West Valley City; three great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Benjamin and Megan Ohsiek, all of Boise, Idaho. Preceded in death by parents and sister.

Funeral services will be Saturday, 12 noon, at the Jordan North 5th Ward, 3836 West 4100 So. Friends may call Friday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 So. Redwood Rd, and Saturday at the church, one hour prior to services. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
