SHARE PROVO LIBRARY PLANNING KID COSTUME PARTY MONDAY

The Provo City Library will hold a costume party for children to dress as characters from "The Little Rascals" on Monday, Sept. 12, from 7 to 8 p.m.

Prizes, donated by McDonald's and Imagine That Children's Store will be awarded to each character that most closely resembles "Spanky" "Alfalfa" "Darla" "Dickie" "Porky" "Buckwheat" "Junior" "Wheezer" and "Stymie."Children don't have to be dressed up to join in the fun. There will also be an "Alfalfa" singing contest. Films of the Little Rascals will be shown and free popcorn will be distributed.

The contest is one of the many free family events at the Provo City Library on Monday nights. Storytelling by regular storytellers, as well as guests, puppet shows and special family lectures are available free to the public on Mondays at the library, 425 W. Center.
