CAPTION ONLY: FAIRGOERS LEARN TOUGH ART OF MANAGING A WHEELCHAIR

Several fairgoers took the opportunity to learn the ropes of wheelchair wizardry at an Utah State Fair exhibit Thursday. The exhibit mimics the everyday challenges faced by those who rely on wheelchairs for mobility, said Russ Behrman, fair spokesman. The fair opened yesterday, with a parade, Trisha Yearwood concert, food booths, amusement park rides and SpaceTalk '94. The fair continues through Sept. 18. Fairgoers interested in outer space will find a lot to their liking at the SpaceTalk '94 exhibit. Among the attractions at the exhibit is a spinning chair, from Ogden's Astro Camp, designed to teach those daring enough to go for a ride that teaches Newton's third law of motion.
