DEATH: DOLLY O'BRIEN

Antoinette Jane Mele O'Brien (Dolly) passed peacefully from this life at her home on Thursday, September 8, 1994.

She was born January 2, 1935 in Columbia, Utah, to Salvatore Mele and Rosina Oliveto Mele. She married Gary W. O'Brien on June 15, 1957 in Price, Utah.

She graduated from the Holy Cross School of Nursing in 1956, and was the head nurse in the University Hospital operating room. She later followed her entrepreneurial instincts and formed a real estate business in Utah.

She was a giving and caring mother, grandmother and wife who was always concerned about her family's welfare. Her loving acts of kindness and gifts of laughter will be remembered by many.

She is survived by her husband, Gary; daughter, Shauna; son and wife, Tim and Julie O'Brien; grandson, Sam, all of Salt Lake City; brothers, Sam of Salt Lake; Dominic, Lou, both Price; Pete, Fullerton, Calif., Tony Mele, Phoenix, Ariz; sisters, Helen Ross and Rose Odette, both St. George; and many nieces and nephews.

"Doll" will be missed by all, but the memories will live with us forever.

Funeral services will be Saturday, September 10, 1994, 2 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, where friends may call Saturday, 1-1:45 p.m.
