A baby-sitting skills class taught by registered nurses is being offered by Primary Children's Medical Center on Saturday mornings Jan. 28, Feb. 25, March 25 and April 22.
Participants must be at least 9 and will learn how to provide safe child care for infants and young children. Topics are basic safety, first aid and age-appropriate games and crafts. A $15 fee includes a tote-bag baby-sitting kit each participant will keep for use in baby-sitting. A certificate from Primary Children's will be awarded those who complete the class.The classes are held from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the hospital, 100 N. Medical Drive.
