A West Jordan man was treated for injuries after being stabbed twice in the back in a fight at a mobile-home park early Saturday morning.

West Jordan Police Capt. Randy Johnson said Jose Flores, 22, was at a party at 8155 S. Redwood Road at about 2 a.m. when a male Hispanic challenged Flores and then stabbed him.Johnson said the stabbing was a result of an earlier incident between the victim and the assailant. He added there were between five and 20 people at the party, but witnesses are keeping quiet.

The suspect is described as approximately 20 years old, and police have a tentative identification, Johnson said.

Flores was released from University Hospital on Sunday.
