Additional mail arrived, entries were checked and a winner was determined, Matt Christiansen of Pleasant Grove who predicted 10 games correctly and won the tiebreaker with the lowest score of 34.
Two other entries picked 10 games right, Kyle Grossarth, Provo, 38 on the tiebreaker and Charmaine White, Salt Lake City, 41 on the tiebreaker.To round out the top ten, the eight additional runners-up, who all picked nine games right and who had the lowest tiebreaker scores, are: Dennis H. Ballard, Murray, 19 on the tiebreaker; Nick Ptaschinski, Sandy, tiebreaker of 20; Bob Lott, Orem, tiebreaker of 20; Benjamin Coats, Sandy, tiebreaker of 20; Amanda L. Tracy, Sandy, 23 on the tiebreaker; Troy K. Sheehan, Kearns, 24 on the tiebreaker; Wendy Johnson, West Jordan, 24 on the tiebreaker and Jamie Anderson, 25 on the tiebreaker. (Anderson also had to win a random drawing with one other entry with 25 on the tiebreaker.)
The top weekly winner receives $100, two bonus points and a Grid Picks T-shirt. The 10 runners-up receive the T-shirt. All 11 are now entered in the cumulative game for a chance at the Grand Prize, a trip for two to the Holiday Bowl.
Prizes will be mailed to the winners. Six weeks remain in the contest.
