Donna Lou Sevy, died October 12, 1995 in Vernal.
She was born December 20, 1922 in St. George, Utah, daughter of Leslie Adams and Nettie Knell Morris. She married Thomas H. Sevy on July 10, 1941 in Las Vegas, Nevada.Donna was an active member of the LDS Church, Vernal 1st Ward. Donna and her husband lived in Randolph, Utah and Preston, Idaho, before moving to Vernal, where her husband worked for the U.S. Forest Service as a forest ranger.
She is survived by her children, Leslie and husband, Clyn Bishop, American Fork, Utah; Butch and wife, Marridy Sevy, Vernal, Utah; Kathy and husband, Alan Cooper, Randlett, Utah; Mary and husband, Kim Gardner, St. Charles, Missouri; 15 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, sister, Alma Kunz, brother, Richard Morris, both of Cedar City, Utah. Prededed in death by her husband, a son, Richard Sevy.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 17, 1995, 11 a.m. in the Vernal 1st Ward Chapel. Friends may call at Thomson's Vernal Mortuary, Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday morning 9:30-10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Dry Fork Cemetery, under the direction of Thomson's Vernal Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to the Animal Care Association, PO Box 337, Vernal, Utah.
