Sylvia Geisler Kemp, 84, our beloved mother and grandmother, died October 17, 1995 in an American Fork hospital.

Born January 1, 1911 in Central, Idaho to Frederick Wilhelm Geisler and Jensine Hansen. Married Harold C. Kemp in Salt Lake City, Utah on December 6, 1929. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple June 19, 1947. He preceded her in death on December 26, 1991. Sylvia was active in the LDS Church,participating as Primary president, Relief Society counselor and teacher for many years as well as being a temple worker for many years.Survivors: daughters, Mrs. William Dale (Janet) Stewart, Pleasant Grove, Utah; Mrs. J. Robert (Gail) Burt, Meridian, Idaho; sons, Lynn Kemp (Barbara), American Fork, Utah; Fred Kemp (Karen), Peterson, Utah; 18 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by three grandchildren and eight brothers and sisters.

Funeral services Saturday, October 21, 1995 at 11 a.m. in the Goff Mortuary Chapel, 8090 So. State St. where friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment, Sandy City Cemetery.
