A University of Utah broadcast journalism student recently received the 1995-96 $2,000 Minority Scholarship award from the Salt Lake Radio Broadcasters Association.

James DaeSung Jun, a junior, said his designated goal "is to become a broadcast journalist who can bring exposure to ethnic minority issues and topics."Along with his studies, Jun hosts a weekly radio show titled "Faces of Diversity" on KRCL Community Radio.

He is also a member of the university's diversity board, the Asian American Student Association, the Korean Student Association and the Center for Ethnic Studies.
