Frank George Farlaino, age 78, died October 20, 1995 at his home.

Born October 31, 1916 in Sunnyside, Utah, the son of George and Paula Giai Farlaino. Married Yolanda DallaCorte, March 26, 1938 in Price, Utah. An active member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in East Carbon. He worked in the coal mines for 45 years, where he was a retired member of the United Mine Workers of America, Local #9958. Frank wrote a book on the history of Sunnyside called, "Bring Men to Match My Mountain".Survived by wife, Yolanda D. Farlaino, Sunnyside; sons, Eugene Farlaino, and Larry Farlaino, both of Price; special sister-in-law, Yvonne DallaCorte, Sunnyside; and many nieces, nephews, and a community of friends who will miss him dearly. Preceded in death by parents and brothers and sisters.

Funeral mass, Monday, Oct. 23, 1995, 10 a.m., Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Vigil service Sunday evening 7 p.m. at the church in East Carbon. Committal service: Price City Cemetery.
