Pierpont, 328-0703) - "With Kids in Mind: Interactive Art Inspired by Living and Working With Children," a three-person show and installation showcasing works by Helene Fischer Elbein, Louise Fischman and Elaine Harding will show through Nov. 24. For the installation, "Stories Inside Us," the artists have solicited the help of Craig Glidden, Victoria Lyons, Alison Perreault and Mary Goodwin-Scriven.

The Utah Arts Council announces the nomination deadline for the 1995 Governor's Awards in the Arts is Friday, Oct. 27. Nominations are accepted in the following categories: individual artist, folk artist, patron, community, business, arts organization, arts education, elected official and special citation. The Springville Museum of Art announces a call for entries. The museum is sponsoring an exhibition of spiritual and religious fine art in December. All Utah artists, regardless of religious preference, are invited to participate with one or two works of art. Deadline for receipt of art is Nov. 24 through 26. For more information, call 489-2727.

Salt Lake Community College will host its second annual "Community Invitational Art Show" Oct. 27 through Nov. 27. Utah artists wishing to submit their artwork for the show should call Gordon Storrs at 957-4562 for more information.

The Steamboat Springs Arts Council and First National Bank of Steamboat Springs announce a call for artists to participate in the annual "Wood, Glass, Fiber, Metal and Clay Art Show," running from Nov. 3-27 at the Eleanor Bliss Center for Arts at the Depot. The show is open to professional and amateur artists in any of the above mediums. Deadline for applications is Friday, Oct. 27.
