WOMEN'S SOCCER: Freshman Shauna Rohbock scored her second goal with 56 seconds remaining in the game to give the Cougars' a 2-1 victory over Creighton University in Omaha Saturday.

The win improved BYU's record to 9-7-1 on the season.

"This was the best game we've played all year," said head coach Jennifer Rockwood. "We put pressure on them all night, stepped up to our level of play and did not substitute the entire game," added Rockwood.

The Cougars and Lady Jays played to a scoreless first half.

Forward Rohbock, BYU's leading scorer, scored first in the 55th minute of the second half on a header off of teammate Laurel Simpson's direct free kick.

The Lady Jays' Kalan Malone tied it up in the 84th minute

after getting a pass from Maggie Keller. Rohbock broke the tie to secure the Cougars' win in the 89th minute scoring on a breakaway. Leanne Johnson picked up the assist.

BYU returns to play its last home game of the season against Weber State on Wednesday. They play Utah in Salt Lake City on Friday.


MEN'S SOCCER: The Westminster men's soccer team defeated University of Mary, 2-0 Saturday in Rapid City, S.D. The win broke a five-game losing streak upping the Parsons' record to 11-6. Ader Sanchez and Chris Kirkpatrick scored Westminster's goals on unassisted plays.

Westminister faces National College today.
