Emer J. Henline, 76, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, passed away peacefully at his home on October 21, 1995.

He was born October 19, 1919, in Charlston, Utah, to William H. and Mabel J. Ritchie Henline. He married his sweetheart, Lois Sabey, March 25, 1941, in Charlston.He served in the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of World War II. He worked in construction and was an independent trucker for over 20 years. He spent the last seven years working for the Vernal land fill.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, horse racing and an occasional game of cribbage. It didn't matter what he did as long as his family was by his side.

Survivors include his wife; two sons and two daughters, Harold and Carol Henline of Gig Harbor, Wash.; Dennis and Diane Henline of Vernal, Utah; LaRae and Carl Baese of Vernal, Utah; Jolene and Marty Mascarenaz of Salt Lake City, Utah; 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Horace Henline; sisters, Maurine Carlson, Rhea Carlson and Cora Clayburn.

Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Ellis and Wayne Henline; and sister, Mabel Crook.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 24, 1995, 11 a.m., Davis 4th Ward Chapel, 1475 East 4000 South, Vernal, Utah. Friends may call at Thomson's Vernal Mortuary on Monday, 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, 9:30-10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park with full Military Honors by the American Legion.
