Scott Brewster, storyteller and musician, will present "An Irish Halloween" at the Provo Library on Monday, Oct. 30, from 6:30 to 7 p.m. and again from 7:30 to 8 p.m.

An Irish Halloween is a half-hour of Celtic stories and music fit for the occasion.The Brewster Family is well-known for performances of bluegrass, Celtic and other folk music. He has a deep interest in Irish and Celtic folklore and was recently featured as a storyteller at the Storytelling Guild. He is often accompanied by his wife and children, who dance and perform using a variety of instruments, including Gothic harp, bowed psaltery, Irish Bohdran, tin whistle and Irish fiddle.

The Halloween Celtic stories to be told are selected for November Eve, the last night of the year under the ancient Celtic calendar.
