Michael Jordan scored 22 points and Dennis Rodman was ejected Friday night in the Chicago Bulls' 104-101 exhibition loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.

Rodman was ejected with nine minutes remaining in the third quarter after receiving his second technical foul.Lamond Murray scored 19 points and former Nebraska standout Eric Piatkowski added 16 for the Clippers.

Nets 100, Hornets 89

At East Rutherford, N.J., Kenny Anderson had six points and three assists in a 16-6 second-quarter spurt and the New Jersey Nets snapped a three-game losing streak.

Anderson finished with 19 points and Armon Gilliam added 16 points and 11 rebounds. Larry Johnson and rookie George Zidek had 14 apiece for the Hornets.

At Columbus, Ohio, Bobby Phills scored 21 points and Dan Majerle added 19 as Cleveland won its third straight exhibition game.

The NBA announced the suspension of the Heat's Matt Geiger for one game and fined him $10,000 Friday for his flagrant foul this week against Shaquille O'Neal, who broke his right thumb on the play.

At New Orleans, Tim Breaux scored 21 of his 24 points in the second half to lead defending NBA champion Houston over Los Angeles in the Louisiana Superdome.

The Rockets played without injured center Hakeem Olajuwon and guard Sam Cassell. Nick Van Exel led the Lakers with 23 points, while Cedric Ceballos had 20.
