While the ArtTix telephone lines have been extremely busy - tied up by those anxious to purchase tickets for the five-week extension of Andrew Lloyd Webber's "The Phantom of the Opera" - the Theater League of Utah says the quickest way to obtain tickets is to go directly to an ArtTix outlet.

There are still plenty of seats available for the touring show, which will play March 28-July 13 at the Capitol Theatre.ArtTix maintains a walk-up box office at the Capitol Theatre (the only ArtTix outlet where credit cards are accepted), with additional outlets at Albertson's stores at 6989 S. 1300 East and 2040 S. 2300 East in Salt Lake City; 25 W. Center, Orem; 1800 Park Ave., Park City, and 3945 Washington Blvd., Ogden.

Only cash or checks are accepted at the Albertson's outlets.

(The ArtTix telephone number, for those who have more time on their hands, is 355-2787.)
