Three men armed with a rifle and handguns and wearing rubber U.S. president masks robbed the Utah Central Credit Union Friday of an undetermined amount of cash and then fled the scene.
According to a police report, tellers at the bank - 1991 S. 3600 West - noticed the men get out of a dark green Isuzu Trooper at about 1 p.m. wearing a George Bush, Ronald Reagan and another rubber mask.As the men entered the bank, one of the tellers noticed a rifle and "immediately knew what was about to happen" and set off an alarm, the report states.
The suspects walked straight to the tellers' counter, and one of the men pointed a rifle at the three tellers. Another man pointed a handgun at the three women, according to the report.
A customer was ordered to get on the floor, and the tellers were told to open the cash drawers and to give them the money. Upon leaving, the suspects told the tellers to get on the floor as they left.
