Elaine Lundell Peay, 69, of Benjamin, Utah, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 1995 at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo, from complications following heart surgery.

She was born on April 17, 1926 in Benjamin, Utah, the daughter of Arthur Lundell and Katherine Zeeman Lundell. She married Kenneth Bert Peay, on June 27, 1944 in the St. George LDS Temple. She was educated in Benjamin, California, and Spanish Fork Schools. She graduated from Spanish Fork High School. She enjoyed music and singing. She was a very compassionate grandmother, mother, and friend. She was an active member of the LDS Church and has served in many various positions, including Ward Relief Society president and Stake Relief Society president.Survivors include her husband, of Benjamin; one daughter and three sons, Mrs. Gary (Sharlene) Perigo, of Ogden; Kenneth Brent (Cecile) Peay, of Benjamin; David L. (Tammy) Peay, of Benjamin; Daniel Ray (Cammy) Peay, of Kingwood, Texas; 13 grandchildren; one brother and two sisters, Mrs. Lewis (Bea) Jex, of Spanish Fork; Vernon (Gaylene) Lundell, of Salt Lake City; and Mrs. Blaine (Marlene) Willes, of Orem.

Funeral services will be Monday, October 30, 1995 at 11 a.m. in the Benjamin LDS 1st Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary, 187 South Main Street, Spanish Fork on Sunday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. or Monday at the ward relief society room one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Benjamin Cemetery.
