Franklin Don Allred, 94, died at his home in Salt Lake City on October 27, 1995, of causes incident to age.

Born December 2, 1900 in Wallsburg, Utah to Franklin McKenzie and Polly Bigelow Allred. He was raised and educated in Wallsburg, Utah. He moved to Stockton, California, where he began his lifelong work in the furnace and heating business. In later years he established a partnership with his brothers, Allreds Inc., a wholesale heating supply co., in Murray, Utah. He married Ann Greer in Salt Lake City, Utah, July 7, 1930. Shedied November 4, 1963.He loved fishing, hunting and the great outdoors and was an avidgardener. He was very loyal and loving to his family and friends. He is survived by three children: daughters, Edrie A. Bridenbaughand Jean A. (Reed) Goddard; son, John Franklin (Susan) Allred, allof Salt Lake City; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; twobrothers, Daniel F. (Lois) Allred, of Salt Lake City; and George B.(Thelma) Allred, of Lehi, Utah. Preceded in death by his parents,two brothers and four sisters.

Graveside services will be held Monday, October 30th, 1:00 pm,Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery, 2350 East 1300 South. Friends may callat the Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary from 12-1 pm, prior to services. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Hospice of Utah,or your favorite charity.
