Our beloved, Ruby Rozella Murphy Peterson, age 87, died October 28, 1995 in Mayfield, Utah.
She was born December 20, 1907 in Salina, a daughter of Hyrum and Tamma Arminta Curtis Murphy. She married Frands Ernel (Jake) Peterson, July 6, 1926 in Richfield, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple. He died July 21, 1974. She was a member of the LDS Church.She is survived by a daughter: Barbara Peterson Bates, of Salt Lake City, Utah; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; brother and sister: Arnelda Murphy Poulson, of Redmond and Merrill Deaton, of Idaho. She was preceded in death by three daughters: Donna Mae Peterson, Rene' Peterson Mellor and Francell Peterson Hansen; three sisters and two brothers: Retta Deaton Felt, Mae Murphy Ivy Campbell, Stella Murphy, Lawrence Daton and John Deaton.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 31, 1995 at 12 noon in the Salina 3rd LDS Ward Chapel, located at 87 South 100 East in Salina. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Salina, Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Salina Eastside Cemetery under the direction of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
