Megan Smith, 11, Orem, has her world turned upside down during an Orbitor ride Saturday at the Utah Girl Scout Council's Great Pumpkin Festival at the Gallivan Utah Center. Thousands of children decorated pumpkins and enjoyed other activities. More than 30 "celebrity" pumpkins were auctioned off. Funds will buy toys and other items for the Center for Family Development's (abused) children play room. Funds to the Scout Council will support programs for girls considered "at risk."
