A comment on the article on B1 Sept. 23: Judge who hit teenage boy may face discipline.
This is another illustration of a law that favors the criminal and punishes a well-meaning citizen.I know that physical punishment is illegal. I wonder if that may be one of the reasons we have such a gain in teenage crime. Punishment of this judge will send out a signal to our teenagers that they have a right to be belligerent and insulting.
If it was legal, the judge should be criticized for being too mild with his physical punishment. The punishment surely doesn't "fit the crime."
