Mabel Jansson Waller, 92, died October 4, 1995 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She was born June 20, 1903 in Murray, Utah to Karin and PerGustaf Jansson. On September 15, 1926 she married Newell B. Waller in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mabel was a faithful and active member of the LDS Church serving in many capacities. She enjoyed her family and friends and was a world wide traveler. She loved to knit and quilt and was an excellent seamstress.Survived by her children Beth (Bob) Epperson, Janet (Kent) Topham, Joe (Lynne) Waller and son-in-law, Dick Johnson; 13 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; sisters, Hilma Barker, Blanche Ellis and June Ellis and brother-in-law, Dan Day; sisters-in-law, Lillian Mackey and June Waller; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Elayne Johnson; grandson, Randall Johnson; four sisters and one brother.

Funeral services 12 noon, Monday, October 9, 1995 at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 Highland Drive. Family and friends may call Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and prior to services at the mortuary on Monday from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. Interment in the Murray City Cemetery, 5490 So. Vine Street.
