Forty-two entries from last week weren't fooled by Oregon at Arizona, Washington at UCLA or even Utah State at UNLV because each picked all games 12 games correctly. It was Lyle Owen of North Salt Lake, however, who was the top weekly winner, predicting the exact score, BYU 31, New Mexico, 14.
The ten runners-up follow along with their tiebreaker score: Dale Monson, Salt Lake City, 1; David Parker, Bountiful 4; Scott Johnson, Spanish Fork, 4; Roy D. Yuill, Kearns, 6; Heather McArthur, West Valley, 6; Riley Newton, Salt Lake CIty, 7; Bob Allen, West Valley, 8; Joe Waller, Salt Lake City, 9; Randy Homer, North Salt Lake, 9; and Ruth Firth, Ogden, 10 (Firth's name was drawn at random from other 12s with 10 on the tiebreaker to place in the top ten).As the top weekly winner, Owen wins $100, two bonus points and a Grid Picks T-shirt. Runners up receive the T-shirt and all 11 are entered in the cumulative game for the grand prize, a trip for two to the Holiday Bowl.
After games on Nov. 19, Grid Picks concludes for 1995 and the grand prize winner will be determined and announced.
Prizes will be mailed to winners.
