Dwane G. Jensen peacefully passed away November 12, 1995 after valiantly fighting cancer.

He was born in Brigham City on April 16, 1923 to Joseph and Mary Elizabeth Jensen. He married the love of his life, Joyce Combe, on July 19, 1946. He was bolstered in his life by the years he played football for Box Elder High School and the University of Utah, where he earned his degree in Electrical Engineering. He was especially proud of the years he spent serving his country in the Navy. After working for Utah Power & Light in Ashton, Idaho, Ogden and Salt Lake City, he jumped at the chance to return home to Brigham City and work for Thiokol. He relished hunting, fishing, gardening, and romping with his grandchildren, but he enjoeyd spending time with his beloved wife the most.He will be missed by his loving wife, his children, Connie and Dennis Dummer, Medford, Oregon; Steve Jensen and special friend, Denise White, Salt Lake City; Diane and Allan Young, Corinne; and Eileen Jensen and special friend, Anita Robison, Salt Lake City; his grandchildren; great-grandchildren and his brothers and sisters: Truman Jensen, Myrtle and John Combe, and Marie Osborn. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, brothers: Carlyle Jensen, Ray Jensen, Lynn Jensen and sisters, Mable Cutler and Vera Swenson.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 1995 at 11 a.m. at Petersen Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, in Brigham City. Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 and on Wednesday from 9:45 until 10:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery with military honors accorded.
