For the second year in a row, Goldsmith Co. Jewelers is looking to the winter skies to add extra incentive to customers purchasing sale items between now and Nov. 25.
If the Brigham Young University weather station records a snowfall of 2.4 inches or more on Thursday, Nov. 30, between noon and 6 p.m., Goldsmith will refund the entire purchase price (less tax) to anyone who made a purchase during the monthlong sale."We set this up some time ago, and we had no idea it was going to be such a good year for snow," said Wil Feller, master jeweler. Feller has purchased insurance to cover the costs if it should snow 2.4 inches or more Nov. 30.
"We're thrilled," Feller said. "We want it to snow on the 30th. We paid for the insurance, so we hope people come in and buy at our anniversary discounts, and hopefully get their diamonds and gold jewelry free."
